The Widespread Adoption of Virtual Reality

It could take 5 or more years before we see a complete mass market & widespread adoption of virtual reality technology into our lives in the way that smart phones are a part of our daily lives now. Nonetheless, the day is coming indeed. What makes today’s virtual world so much more interesting than virtual reality we’ve seen in movies is the real feeling of presence you get when you step inside virtual realty using HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. Both devices have realistic hand controls which increase the feeling of presence and create an impressively immersive VR experience. Having the ability to reach out and touch something with your hands is an awesome feeling so similiar to real life that it makes your brain think you’re really there.

As with all technology, when new tech is first introduced to the market its expensive and the early adopters pay for the privilege of getting a first look at what its all about. Virtual Reality Technology s no different and if you want a first rate, completely immersive experience then Vive and Rift and the way to go, however their price tags unfortunately show us how much new tech costs us. Fortunately however for most of us, there are still really great VR headsets available like Google Cardboard and Daydream, and Samsung Gear VR by Oculus.

Its only a matter of time before we see more virtual realty casinos opening than we do real life casinos. When the days comes vrblackjack.net will be here covering virtual reality blackjack and all of the cool new virtual casino games.
